Beans and Lima Beans Stir fry

Beans and Lima Beans stir fry is generally served as a side dish for rice. It supplies plenty of proteins and the goodness of green veggies. I usually use frozen ready to cook beans & lima beans for this recipe as it saves time.

What all you'll need?

  • Beans - 250 grams
  • Lima Beans - 250 grams
  • Oil - 2 teaspoon
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Urad Dal - 1 teaspoon
  • Curry Leaves - A bunch
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - As required
  • Water - As required

Let's cook it!!

  1. Season mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves in oil in a medium sized pan. Wait for the
    mustard seeds to splutter and urad dal to turn light brown in color.
  2. Add the beans and lima beans to the seasoned mixture along with turmeric powder, chili powder and salt.
  3. Add sufficient amount of water inorder to cover the beans mixture. Cook until the beans are soft and dry.

    Tasty beans-lima beans stir fry is ready to be served with hot rice.
