Healthy Wheat Pancake

Pancakes.....One of the main course breakfast item. Here is a healthy version of pancake packed with vitamins and nutrients. A perfect way to start your day a very easy recipe which can be made in no time.

What all you'll need?


  • Whole Wheat Flour - 2 cups
  • Ripe Banana - 2 (sliced into small pieces)
  • Blueberries - 1 cup
  • Cashew Nut - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Honey - 3-4 tablespoons (depending on how sweet you want)
  • Milk - As required (to make the batter)
  • Salt - A pinch
  • Egg - 1 (Optional)


Let's cook it!!

  1. Mix whole wheat flour, baking soda and salt really well in a bowl.
  2. Add milk to the mixture and make it into a semi thick batter. Slowly add egg to the batter and mix really well. (if you don't eat eggs you can avoid it)
  3. Add sliced bananas, blueberries, cashew nuts and honey to the batter and mix well.
  4. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. After 10-15 minutes heat a skillet and coat it with cooking spray/oil so that the pancake won't stick to the skillet.
  6. Pour about one fourth of a cup of the batter to the skillet and wait until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip it to the other side and cook until its light browned on the other side.
Enjoy the delicious and healthy pancake with your choice of topping (honey,jam,syrup).
